Well done Conal Flynn - Well done to Conal Flynn who was a special guest with his family at last weekend's Irish Open. What an unbelievable ambassador for Clarinbridge and we wish him all the best in his golfing endeavours. Everyone in the club is behind him. If you haven't seen this already please do watch - When Conal messaged Brendan Lawlor to say he had inspired him to get into golf, he never expected his hero to pay him a surprise visit. Inspiring Stuff
1983 Intermediate Team Reunion - On Friday evening last the 1983 Co Winning Intermediate team had a reunion to mark 40 years since that famous victory. Organised by a number of the players the team along with selectors and family members had mass in the clubhouse and then had a meal on the decking in Moran's the Weir. As the pictures show it was an exceptional evening with stories and memories recounted and the weather also playing its part for the celebration!! Well done to all involved

U16 Shield Final - Hard luck to our U16's team who were narrowly beaten by a point in the U16 Shield Final last Thursday night against Loughrea. It was a great game of hurling but some harsh referring against us hurt us deeply in the end. But the lads and the mgt team will learn from this and will be stronger for it moving into Minor next year. A lot of this panel are also part of the Minor team who are in the Co Semi Final so hopefully we can make amends then,
Cardiac Screening - The club successfully organised and ran our first Cardiac Screening over the weekend in Killeeneen NS and we had a full house of 45 people who were tested. This is a great initiative inspired by the sudden death of Tipperary Hurler Dillion Quirke last year. Well done to all those who were involved in organising.
