Why do you love playing hurling?

I’ve been playing since I was a small lad and there is nothing better than playing in a packed Kenny Park on a sunny day!

Who is your favourite hurler and why?

Ken McGrath/ Paul Flynn (Waterford). They were great players to watch growing up and always played with their hearts on their sleeves even though they never quite got over the line.

Best advice you ever got from a coach?

“Just go out and have a go” - Liam Morrissey

Away from hurling what’s your favourite way to relax?

I enjoy beating Niall Armstrong, Shane Ryan and Jack Cahill in golf regularly. I’m also kept busy feeding my calves Dan and Ger. A quick nap after a tough day in school isn’t bad either!

Three items you always have in your fridge?

Eggs, Milk, Ballymaloe Relish.
