Why do you love playing hurling?

I think it’s the friendships for life that you make and having the chance to represent your club, family & friends, it’s unique.

Who is your favourite hurler and why?

Tommy Walsh - He could play anywhere on the pitch. His skill levels were excellent and the ability he had to win his own ball in the air for a relatively small guy was second to none. He lived on the edge but hardly ever crossed the line.

Best advice you ever got from a coach?

“You don’t get what you deserve, you deserve what you get.”

Away from hurling what’s your favourite way to relax?

A coffee with the lads and watching the Patriots and Celtic’s.

Three items you always have in your fridge?

Milk, eggs & chicken

Favourite place?

Toss-up between Moran’s of the Weir & Urban Fire.
