Senior Parish LeagueA big shock in the 7 a side parish league as pacesetters Killeeneen got their wings clipped by a rejuvenated Rahasane. In the other crunch game Lavally prevailed against "The Village" and now Lavally appears to carry all the momentum into the big decider on Wednesday Night. What now for Killeeneen. Can they recover? Final matches this Wednesday 29th from 6.45pm!!

Senior/Intermediate & Under 20 League Matches:The Senior, Intermediate and U 20 League kicks off this weekend and next week.

  • Saturday 1st April: In Meelick-Eyrecourt - Meelick-Eyrecourt V Clarinbridge @5pm
  • Sunday 2nd April: In Clarinbridge - Clarinbridge V Ahascragh/Fohenagh @11am
  • Wednesday 5th April: In Oranmore-Maree - Oranmore-Maree V Clarinbridge @6pm

Membership Evenings: The Club will be hosting a membership/yearly lotto evening this Friday 31st March from 6pm to 8pm both evenings. All underage teams from U6 upwards are back on the pitch. Lefty Latte will also be providing Coffee & treats this Friday night for people who will be there to register. With all teams back training this week it is important that everyone is registered before March 31st.

County Minor Hurlers:Congratulations to the Clarinbridge Minor Hurlers & Mark Kerins who were involved with the Co Minor team that defeated Antrim in the Co. first ever minor match in Leinster. A good win to get under the belt. They will now play Laois this Saturday 1st April Laois Hire O'Moore Park, Portlaoise @2:00pm

U16/Minor Updates: The U16's lost the semi-final of their league on Monday night in a spirited game against Craughwell. They will now continue training in preparation for the championship which will start during the summer. On Tuesday evening last the Minors started back with their first strength and conditioning session in the gym in Oranmore.

Hurling & Camogie Easter Academy 3rd - 5th April: Clarinbridge GAA and Camogie Clubs are hosting an Easter Hurling and Camogie Academy in association with Ward and Burke and Sei Bella Hair Design during Easter. It takes place next week April 3rd to 5th at the GAA grounds from 10-1pm. The Academy is aimed at U11-U13 age group and promises to be a great event! Places still available – to register go to the ‘Club Shop’ area of Clarinbridge GAA ClubZap.

Best of luck to our U13 hurlers and Killeeneen NS in the National Credit Union Schools Quiz Final! - We would like to wish our U13 Hurlers Cillian Kerins and Lewis O’Brien and their classmates Rhys Whelan and Charlie Lyons all the best in the National Credit Union Schools Quiz final in the RDS, Dublin this Sunday, April 2nd. The boys represent Galway after winning previous chapters of the quiz and also their school Killeeneen NS. Best of luck to the boys, their teachers and supporters!

Congratulations to our U13 hurlers and Killeeneen NS in GAA Scór na bPaistí - Also, a big congratulations to Killeeneen NS 6th class boys and U13 hurlers Lewis O’Brien, Cillian Kerins and Myles O’Brien and their classmate Charlie Lyons for receiving first place in the GAA Scór na bPpaistí Quiz this month held at the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry. Scór is a GAA competition that combines all the colour and rivalry of Gaelic games with the social fun element of Ireland's traditional past-times. The boys won first place with all questions answered correctly! Well done to all involved!
