Upgraded Pitch Works: The Main pitch was sanded and spiked last week. There was also some drainage works at the West Goalmouth of the Juvenile Pitch completed. The Pitch Committee were able to lay the outlet pipe from the goal mouth into the soakaway constructed last year to drain the car park, with funding from Leader Project. The attached photos "Outlet Pipe Into Car Park Soakaway" shows the outlet drainage pipe being connected into the Soakaway. There were two of the drainage boxes left over from that soakaway and these were used to create a 0.40 cubic meter void under the west juvenile goal. The newly laid drainage pipe connects that 0.40 cubic meter void the recently constructed Car Park Soakaway. Chippings were spread over the goal mouth area and it was then back filled with soil. The goal mouth drainage works will be completed in the coming week. Well done to John Diskin and the pitch committee involved in making these vital improvements
